2. World AIDS Day 2006 “Fundraising through awareness program”

“Come Closer, Touch Me, Shake Hands, Play With Me, Kiss Me, ………….HIV does not transfer through these activities.” With this slogan in posters, pamphlets, banners and stickers, more than a thousand Youth Red Cross volunteers involved in the campaign against stigma and discrimination around HIV/AIDS on the World AIDS Day programme.
The Nepal Youth Red Cross, Shanker Dev Campus marched through door to door and public vehicles in Bagbazar and Putalisadak area more than hundred volunteers, exchanging posters and stickers containing HIV AIDS information among people. The activities had dual objectives: to collect funds from voluntary donors for the treatment of the people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.
Nepal Youth Red Cross, Shanker Dev Campus extends hearty thanks to all the donors and volunteers to support the awareness and fund raising Campaigns for the treatment of the people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.
